Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering Aviation Business or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years experience with a Bachelors degree or 3 years experience with a Masters degree.

Position Purpose :

Act as the primary source of technical information during the sales process. Under minimal supervision works in close coordination with Sales Executives to provide timely and accurate sales support for assigned sales territories including technical analyses competitive analyses and sales proposal responses. Direct interface with Level 1 2 and 3 customers is required.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities :

Essential Functions :

• Provide technical information directly to Level 1 2 and 3 customers through formal sales presentations customer visits facility tours static displays and demonstration flights.
• Provide timely and accurate sales support for assigned sales territories including technical analyses competitive analyses sales proposal responses customer question responses and generation of customer specific sales material. .
• Assist Sales Executives in the development of sales messages that are appropriate for a particular account.
• Act as primary point of contact and liaison between field-based sales executives and Savannah.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of sales engineering initiatives and tasks.
• Work in close coordination with other groups at Gulfstream on collaborative projects of increasing level of complexity. Responsible for the completion of assigned project milestones.
• Provide sales engineering / customer support at all necessary marketing events trade shows air shows static displays industry conferences and special events. .
• Responsible for organizing sales engineering support and materials for events in the assigned sales territories.
