Position Description & Details :
The Health Promotion Coordinator position will collaboratively work to develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive health promotion program. This position will contribute to the development of evidence-informed strategies for enhancing the health and well-being of NDSU students in accordance with the University, Division of Student Affairs and Institutional Equity, AAAHC, and all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities :
Design & Deliver Health Promotion Initiatives -
Takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of theory-based and evidence-informed health promotion and prevention-oriented strategies, policies, programs, and services based on identified needs and priorities.Oversee ongoing programs to support student access to public health materials such as safer sex supplies / education and menstrual product supplies / education.Collaborate with key stakeholders on and off campus to contribute to a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to health for students.Peer Education Leadership -
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a student-focused peer education program addressing relevant topics such as sleep hygiene, substance use, mental health, suicide prevention, sexual health, sexual assault prevention, etc.Coordinate student peer educator recruitment, training, and continuing education.Supervise and serve as a mentor to student peer educators.Social Marketing & Health Communications -
Develop and implement comprehensive social marketing and health communication strategies, including social media management, to enhance student education and health behaviors.Assist with increasing student awareness of programs and services offered by Health Promotion and Student Health Service.Work Schedule :
