American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications for a high-acuity, Level I trauma teaching hospital.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a large Level I trauma center and teaching hospital with adult and pediatric patientsDepartment sees an average of 350-400 patients per day, including ED, ICU, nursing units, and outpatient casesUse of Shimadzu RadSpeed, Intelli-C multipurpose, Konica and Shimadzu portables, and GE / Siemens R / F roomsEMR system is Epic10-hour night shifts, Monday through Friday from 22 : 30 to 07 : 00No weekend rotation requiredCall is assigned within a fair rotation among team members including travelers, with frequency dependent on team sizeNo floating to other departmentsTravelers expected to help cover holidays unless approved off in advanceDuties include performing a wide range of radiology exams for adult and pediatric patients from various hospital departmentsSupport team includes a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging ManagerDepartment features a collaborative team culture and values helpfulnessFacility and departmental orientation provided, with 5 days department orientation (flexible as needed)Black scrubs are requiredFree onsite parking is available for staffRTO must be approved by managementFirst-time travelers are welcome for consideration\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year of radiology technologist experience required, including recent experience within the past yearARRT-R and BLS certifications requiredConfident clinical skills required in high-acuity, fast-paced environmentsGood communication skills and teamwork attitude strongly preferredExperience with Epic EMR is requiredLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
