The Department of Family Medicine of the Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) at The University of Southern California (USC) seeks a fulltime early-to-mid-career research faculty member, preferably tenure track, with a background in gerontology and / or human behavior. This person will strengthen our existing research portfolio in the areas of elder abuse and caregivers with a focus on populations who may be experiencing specific stressors, such as those in under-resourced communities and those caring for adults with dementing illness. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in growing our research through federal and non-federal sources of funding, will support the growth and development of students and junior faculty, and will have an interest in evolving into a leader in aging research within the department. Salary and Application Information
The annual base salary range for this position is $152,155 – $191,648. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
