Transportation Analyst, Vendor Flex

The Alternate Fulfillment Transportation (AFT) Team is seeking a Transportation Analyst join our growing program to drive the optimization and execution of the transportation needs of the AF Network. The AF Network operates multiple warehouse throughout North America and is continually expanding its locations year over year. Within the AFT space we own the transportation strategy execution and optimization to ensure that packages are delivered to our customers on time and cost effectively. The AFT Team needs exceptionally talented bright and driven people to design develop and improve our transportation processes and execution.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute daily operations in the form of caps monitoring carrier & vendor outreach and problem solving for a rapidly growing network.
• Support continuous improvement of daily operations. Your feedback will be critical for as we grow this team and expand AF operations into many more US cities.
• Escalate problems to the relevant stakeholders and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
• Continual tactical communication with external customers (Vendors Carriers) and internal customers (Retail Finance Delivery Stations Sort Centers)
• Identify and eliminate root causes of route inefficiencies capacity constraints and route cancellations.
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met.
• High school or equivalent diploma
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical / IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)
• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
• 1 years of program management logistics operations supply chain transportation or equivalent experience
• 1 years of management experience
• Bachelors degree
• Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47700 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $74800 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
