Job Summary

We have a current opportunity for a Sr. Spacecraft Assembly, Integration & Test Engineer (Will Consider All Senior Levels) located at our facility in Albuquerque, NM. In this role you will interface with all functions of engineering as well as project management to aid in coordinating testing efforts for product development and project deliverables. You will provide support to prototyping and development teams to develop test setups for initial functionality demonstration and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Development and management of high-value spacecraft testing campaigns
• Identify testing methods, develop test plans, and design GSE for risk mitigation, requirements verification and / or validation, and prototype development and demonstration needs
• Develop assembly and test processes for sub-systems and vehicle integration testing
• Recommend and implement improvements to testing processes and methodologies
• Assist system team in development of practical and measurable product requirements
• Monitor and maintain test equipment and ensure facility capabilities to support testing activities are in place
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers and technicians
• Analyze test results, and provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders
• Work with design team to incorporate changes in system design to meet requirements
• Manage team training needs and ensure safety protocols and procedures are adhered to for all spacecraft testing campaigns
