Medical Office Assistant - PFP

Job Summary : Responsibilities include preparation of treatment rooms for examinationof patients, interviewing patients, measuring and recording vital signs,and providing therapeutic conversation to patients in distress. Willinventory and order medical supplies. Clerical duties include schedulingappointments, maintaining medical records, and completing insuranceforms.Work in diverse environments with people of different backgrounds. Must be a strongcommunicator and able to develop an effective partnership withproviders, staff and all stakeholders, regardless of their cultural, ethnic,and racial backgrounds. Minimum Qualifications :

Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
