Compensation
- The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needsThe required availability for this position is Monday through Friday, between 8 : 00 AM and 6 : 00 PMResponsibilities
Enter and process new prescriptions and refills in the pharmacy system in compliance with regulations and company policyPerform third-party claims adjudication, eligibility verification, and refill documentationAccurately calculate dosage, convert between measurement systems, and ensure prescription completenessSupport pharmacists with medication preparation, record keeping, and daily workflowMaintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to all applicable pharmacy laws and standardsHandle prescriber calls, shipment inquiries, and program-related communicationsDemonstrate excellent attention to detail, multitasking, and a proactive approach to patient careMeet productivity, quality, and attendance standardsRequirements
Pharmacy Technician License (Texas) – active and not expiring within 90 days of start dateAt least 6 months of prior pharmacy experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDReliable transportation and ability to be onsite for trainingAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 daysPreferred Qualifications
