Speech therapy clinical fellows at Special Kids have opportunities for team collaboration as well as collaboration with other disciplines, including occupational therapy and physical therapy. • SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF's) provide speech and language therapy services to children from birth to age 21 with a variety of diagnoses and developmental delays by performing the following duties;

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory duties; a CF mentor will provide the necessary hours of direct and indirect indirect supervision for the CF per segment as defined by ASHA.

Education and / or Experience

A minimum of a master's degree in communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology with related experience and / or training.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and web-based applications such as electronic medical records.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Active and unencumbered Tennessee State CF-SLP license required; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Provider (BLS Pro) certification with CPR training required; membership in ASHA recommended; HIPAA certification encouraged.
