Technology Designer

Direct Hire / Permanent Placement

30-$60 hr. ish (jr.-sr. level roles), Full benefits, Flex / Hybrid schedule, Bonus, Profit Sharing, etc.

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a mid-sized A&E Firm (200 ppl, 50 in EE) who work on a wide variety of projects, including : Healthcare, Education, Science & Technology, Sports stadiums, Mission Critical / Data Centers, Hi-rise / multi-unit residential, mixed-use, etc.

ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES

Client / site visits

Be a part of project team meetings and develop materials for presentations to clients / owner

Present technology system concepts / designs to clients and / or design review committees

Develop and edit project bid documentation, specs, and prepare project cost estimates

REQUIRED / HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Technology systems background with an emphasis on any of the following : audio / video systems, security systems, WAN, LAN and WLAN systems, SAN / Server / firewalls, phone systems, public address systems, copper and fiber network cabling.

AS or BS in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or similar

2+ years of US experience post degree

AutoCAD or Revit experience (preferred but not required)

CTS, RCDD or other industry credentials (preferred but not required)
