Natural Resources Administrator 1 (Coastal Management Specialist)

What you will do...

Assist administrator with coordination & implementation of coastal management projects funded through federal state & local sources

Oversee special Lake Erie related programs & projects (e.g. identify project requirements identify & manage budget & time frame requirements evaluate whether project deliverables are satisfactory negotiate with project partners as assigned)

Review regular project progress reports manage requests for proposals & assist in office budget planning

Review grant applications & provide feedback

Assist administrator with implementation of the Ohio Coastal Nonpoint Pollution Control Program (CNPCP)

Prepare & present information on coastal issues to local state & national organizations & public

Assist administrator in meetings with other departmental divisions & outside agencies to coordinate & inform about projects

Participate in outreach & technical assistance events

The Natural Resources specialty for this position is Coastal Management Biology Hydrology Environmental Science & / or Geology / Oceanography

Starting hourly pay of $32.35 / hr with multiple pay increases over your first 6.5 years of service with an end salary of $46.09 / hr

There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state more details refer to the Exempt pay range schedule & longevity rates Exempt Employees E1 Department of Administrative Services.
