Your Job

The Robotic Weld Programmer is responsible for creating, testing, and optimizing welding programs for automated welding equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality weld production. This role works closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet manufacturing requirements and maintain welding standards.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, modify, and troubleshoot welding programs for robotic and automated welding systems.
  • Set up and adjust robotic welding parameters to achieve optimal performance and consistent weld quality.
  • Collaborate with production control, engineering and manufacturing teams to determine best welding sequences, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering specifications to create accurate welding programs.
  • Perform setup and trial runs, quality checks, and make real-time adjustments to meet production and quality goals.
  • Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and welding parameters.
  • Train operators and technicians on program operation and welding processes.
  • Support preventive maintenance of welding robots and related equipment.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience with robotic welding systems and programming languages (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, or similar).
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
  • Industry experience with a focus on welding automation.
  • What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • AWS Certification.
