Are you passionate about sports and eager to jump into Game Production? The City of Peoria is looking for Camera Operators at the Peoria Sports Complex for the 2025 Arizona Fall League and 2026 Spring Training seasons.

This hands-on role offers an exciting chance to gain experience in Live Entertainment Production as well as Sports Marketing & Management, while working with TWO Major League Baseball teams-the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. As a Camera Operator, you'll be at the heart of game day operations, handling tasks like interacting with fans, capturing content, and running the camera switcher in the Production Room.

Regular Duties Include :

  • Mobile RF camera operations.
  • Coordinate real-time marketing and promotional features.
  • Ensure the safety of everyone by following proper safety standards.
  • Assist other departments / areas as needed-teamwork is key!

Expectations :

  • Work at least 3 games / 15 hours per week (including one game Monday-Thursday).
  • Commit to a schedule based on your availability and arrange a substitute if needed.

    The ideal candidate for this position will have :

  • Strong knowledge working with digital cameras and camera equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of the procedures of a baseball game (preferred).
  • Excelling time management and organizational skills with ability to successfully prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to change while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on game times and changing schedules. Will include evenings and / or weekends based upon the event schedule.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • A positive attitude and great customer service skills.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Education :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Experience :

  • Previous experience in the operation of videoboard, audio or production room equipment required.

    • Licenses and Certifications :

  • Valid AZ Driver's License upon hire.

    • Preferred / Desirable Qualifications :

  • Experience in a sporting and entertainment environment preferred.
