McGrath Lexus of Westmont is seeking an engaging, polished, and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Customer Engagement & Service-to-Sales Specialist . This hybrid role bridges the service drive, sales floor, and CRM / BDC operations, ensuring customers receive exceptional Lexus-level care whether they are servicing their vehicle, exploring upgrade options, or inquiring online. Ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful customer interactions, wants to develop automotive product knowledge, and thrives in a role that blends structure with creativity.
Primary Responsibilities Service-to-Sales (Main Focus) :
- Proactively engage guests in the service drive to identify potential upgrade opportunities.
- Hold warm, genuine conversations with service clients to understand needs, lifestyle changes, and vehicle interests.
- Present potential upgrade paths, vehicle benefits, and equity opportunities in a customer-friendly manner.
- Work closely with management to identify qualified service drive clients based on equity and ownership data.
- Introduce customers to appropriate sales consultants for test drives and consultations.
- Assist in scheduling appointments for upgrade discussions, appraisals, or vehicle demonstrations.
- Maintain a polished, professional presence on the service drive that aligns with the Lexus guest experience.
Customer Inquiry & CRM / BDC Responsibilities :
Professionally handle inbound and outbound customer calls, emails, and texts .Answer questions regarding vehicle availability, features, pricing, and dealership services.Schedule and confirm appointments for showroom visits and test drives.Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer information in our CRM system (DriveCentric).Conduct follow-up communication with customers who have shown interest in purchasing or upgrading.Support weekly and monthly goals for appointments, customer interactions, and follow-ups.Qualifications : Required :
Strong communication and interpersonal skills comfortable speaking with guests in person and digitally.Positive, energetic, and customer-serviceoriented mindset.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer proficiency.Preferred (but not required; we will train) :
Previous experience in a dealership (Service, Sales, BDC, CRM, or Customer Service).Familiarity with VinSolutions or similar CRM systems.Confidence with video walkarounds or virtual presentations.Content creation or basic photo / video skills.What We Offer :
