Purpose of Role :
Under general supervision, the Senior Systems Data Analyst develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality of the Agency. Develops systems and applications to store and analyze data, and prepares reports to interpret and summarize the results. Provides user support for data analysis tools. Provides leadership and ensures deadlines are met.

Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and / or related field, or three-year related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education, training and / or experience that demonstrate possession of knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.
Valid California driver’s license. Certification of good DMV record. Valid auto registration and insurance. Position may require occasional driving to and from locations to meet with parents and / or for the purpose of training.
Must have Knowledge of CDA’s goals and objectives, vision, mission, and values; and California Department of Education Child Care Division rules and regulations. Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL, various programming languages, data analysis tools, and server infrastructure. Must have experience with designing and programming user experience (UX) and user interfaces (UI). General fundamentals of Server architecture and infrastructure required, including cloud-based infrastructure.
Must have advanced program and funding contract knowledge sufficient to analyze, interpret, critique and / or qualify as a resource to other fiscal analysts. Must have ability to prepare comprehensive reports and recommendations; to check and compare records of data for accuracy; to refer to schedules and charts, and to research, compile, analyze and disseminate data and information.
Must have ability to prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met, and initiate prompt and professional responses to coworkers and other individuals with minimum supervision. Ability to calculate mathematical equations and formulas accurately; ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, rules and regulations, and procedure manuals; ability to maintain composure, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and follow privacy laws, rules and regulations, and procedures in regards to record keeping, using appropriate judgement in answering questions, releasing information considering the consequences of disclosure; adapt to new situations, policies or procedures, demonstrating flexibility in the workplace promoting a positive atmosphere; communicate and treat all individuals with dignity and respect, responding in a cooperative, solution-oriented manner; understand and respect diversity in the workplace / community, showing consideration by communicating tactfully and sensitively at all times.

Must be able to operate office equipment such as personal computers, copy machines, fax machines, telephones, calculators and scanners on a daily basis to review, update, track, and research data, information and / or produce reports; proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
