About the Role
The Company is in search of a Labor and Employment Partner to lead and expand its practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of legal matters, including but not limited to, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, wage and hour issues, employment contracts, executive compensation, restrictive covenants, trade secret disputes, internal investigations, and labor union issues. This role requires a strategic-minded individual with a strong background in both counseling and litigation, who can provide sophisticated, business-aligned legal counsel to mid-sized to emerging-growth businesses, executives, and investors. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business, be a thoughtful communicator, and possess a practical, problem-solving mindset.
Applicants for the Labor and Employment Partner position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of focused experience in the field, with a preference for those who have worked at an Am Law or reputable boutique firm. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in growing and maintaining client relationships, as well as a commitment to mentorship, community involvement, and fostering a culture of inclusion.
