My client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled
- Commissioning Engineer
- to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and validation of systems and equipment, ensuring that they meet the required specifications and are fully operational before handover to the client or project team. You will collaborate closely with various engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities :
System Testing and CommissioningLead the commissioning process for electrical, mechanical, or systems projects, including functional testing, troubleshooting, and validation of performance.Equipment CalibrationSet up, configure, and calibrate systems and machinery to meet design specifications and ensure optimal performance.Documentation and ReportingCreate detailed reports and documentation on commissioning activities, including test protocols, outcomes, and recommendations for improvements.Coordination and CollaborationWork closely with project managers, design engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of systems and successful project completion.Safety and ComplianceEnsure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards, including local and international regulations.Client SupportProvide technical support and training to clients and end-users, assisting them with system operation and maintenance.Continuous ImprovementIdentify potential areas for improvement in system design or operation and make recommendations to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.Required Skills and Qualifications :
EducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).Experience3-5 years of experience in commissioning, field engineering, or a similar role.Technical ProficiencyStrong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or control systems, with hands-on experience in system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.Software KnowledgeFamiliarity with CAD, BIM tools, and specialized commissioning software.Problem-Solving SkillsAbility to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot system malfunctions.Project ManagementExperience managing time-sensitive projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high-quality standards under pressure.Communication SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.Safety FocusedComprehensive understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance, including OSHA, ASHRAE, or IEC standards.Physical Requirements :
Ability to work on-site in varying conditions, including construction sites and industrial environments.Ability to lift and operate testing equipment as required.May involve travel to project locations or client sites.Benefits :
