About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and a key driver of organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives, enhancing internal operations, and supporting executive communications to ensure the delivery of the company's mission. This role requires a deep commitment to the company's values, including equity, inclusion, and youth empowerment, and the ability to foster alignment and accountability across departments to sustain a high-performing culture.
Key responsibilities for the Chief of Staff include strategic planning and execution, executive support and communications, operational coordination, and culture and team enablement. The role involves collaborating with the CEO on strategic initiatives, leading projects, and monitoring progress on key performance indicators. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in preparing various materials, facilitating leadership meetings, and representing the CEO when necessary. Operationally, the focus is on improving internal systems, supporting budgeting and compliance efforts, and ensuring alignment across departments. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a minimum of 5 years' experience in nonprofit management, and strong project management and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include a graduate degree and experience with boards, funders, and community partners.
