Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Floor Tech maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment. Duties include :

• Cleans assigned areas according to established standards and 12-step cleaning process.
• Scrubs strips waxes and buffs floors utilizing automatic and multi-speed floor machines and other specialized equipment.
• Maintains and cleans assigned equipment.
• Arranges and / or transports furniture equipment and supplies.
• Documents and reports items needing repair and hazardous conditions requiring correction.
• Stocks supply cart in assigned areas.

Job Requirements

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
