Family Support Specialist
Join Simpson Housing Services as a Family Support Specialist and help families move from homelessness to stable housing. You'll work directly with families to secure housing, increase financial stability, and build long-term independence. This role combines case management, housing navigation, and family-centered support to create lasting impactwhile contributing to an equity-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support families in securing and maintaining permanent housing by meeting at their place of residence.
- Provide weekly case management and help set and achieve family-driven goals.
- Provide transportation and accompany to appointments related to their goals.
- Connect families to services in health, education, employment, and finance.
- Collaborate with landlords and community partners.
- Document services and progress in our client database in a timely manner.
