We are seeking Seasonal Lead Graphics Technicians to play an essential role in the US Open experience.

The Role

This dynamic position offers a unique experience by combining creative design and graphics application skills. The Lead Graphics Technician oversees the creation, production, and installation of all in-house graphics and signage, leading a team of seasonal graphics technicians.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create various signage for events, including hospitality signs, wayfinding signs, credential badge boards, logos for on-site use, fire safety signs, and sponsor signs.
  • Order and inventory all graphics supplies such as ink, vinyl, tape, and tools.
  • Maintain a daily log of all signs created, including quantity, size, and department.
  • Update US Open draw boards daily throughout the tournament.
  • Facilitate the installation and removal of all in-house signs.
  • Assist Parking and Event Operations Teams with wayfinding sign deployment and retrieval.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Graphics Shop.
  • Supervise a team of two seasonal graphics technicians from July to September.
  • Ensure punctual and professional shift attendance for all team members.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager of Events Operations and Manager of Event Operations.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in designing layouts for wide-format print applications.
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience operating and maintaining large-format printers / plotters.
  • Ability to learn wide-format printing software such as Roland VersaWorks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with Google applications is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and able to work under pressure with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive approach to tasks, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work the full duration of the US Open, including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
  • Punctuality and neat grooming, with a professional appearance in uniform.
  • What We Offer

    Compensation : Hourly rate of $20.00 – $24.00 .
