Are you a skilled optometrist looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity We invite you to join this ophthalmology team based in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda FL offering a very competitive $700 per diem compensation rate.

Schedule :

Monday : Fort Myers 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Wednesday : Punta Gorda 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Friday : Fort Myers 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Job Responsibilities :

  • Conduct thorough examinations and provide post-operative care for patients primarily focusing on cataract surgery recoveries as well as lid surgeries and pseudophakic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage eye diseases and vision disorders.
  • Prescribe eyeglasses contact lenses and other vision aids.
  • Educate patients on eye health preventive care and treatment options.
  • Stay up to date on the latest advancements in optometry practices.

Requirements :

  • A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Comfortable seeing post-operative patients primarily cataract post-ops but also lid post-ops and pseudophakic exams.
