Commissary Manager Qualifications Education & Experience :
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelors degree in business, hospitality, or culinary management preferred
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in food service management, commissary operations, or a related field
- Proven experience managing a team in a high-volume kitchen or food production environment
Skills & Knowledge :
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and inventory controlFamiliarity with food preparation equipment, commercial kitchen operations, and supply chain logisticsProficient in inventory management systems, POS software, and basic Microsoft Office applicationsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent organizational, time management, and communication abilitiesCertifications (preferred or required) :
ServSafe or equivalent food safety certificationHACCP training or certification is a plusValid drivers license (if the position requires travel or delivery coordinationPersonal Attributes :
