Position Overview :

The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center provides individualized, short-term (up to 90 days) stabilization supports a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) and / or co-occurring behavioral health (BH) diagnoses adults with. These individuals may be experiencing psychiatric crises or significant emotional / behavioral challenges that threaten their ability to remain in their current home environment.

Location / Schedule :

750 Hazel Street, Macon, GA – Monday-Friday with some weekends, 8am-5 : 30pm or 3pm-11pm.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement individualized behavior support plans designed by a Behavior Analyst to address crisis behaviors.
• Use evidence-based crisis response strategies, including de-escalation, calming techniques, and behavior redirection.
• Collect and document data on behaviors during crises to inform intervention planning and track progress.
• Assist with functional behavior assessments to identify behavior triggers and patterns.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (BCBAs, nurses, therapists, RBTs, DSPs) to ensure comprehensive care.
