Responsibilities

may include :

  • Creating automated test software to control test equipment and execute test plans
  • Developing measurement automation using C++, C# along with custom tools
  • Supporting test fixture and / or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout
  • Reviewing product test specifications and applicable test equipment requirements to develop an understanding of real-world applications and operational impacts
  • Measuring product using test equipment like DC source / measure units, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
  • Assisting product teams with troubleshooting and resolution of die sort test issues and yield excursions.
  • Yield improvement, cost reduction, throughput improvements while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications :

  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Analog / RF circuit design coursework and / or experience
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or other object-oriented language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of RF principles and existing Wireless 3G / 4G standards (WCDMA, LTE, HSPA, etc.) and emerging 5G standards is highly desirable
  • Experience with the RF specific hardware and test equipment commonly used (RF amplifiers, mixers, attenuators, filters, couplers, isolators, VCOs, synthesizers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers) is highly desirable
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling

    • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

    Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience : $31-$42 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
