Job Details :

Mercer University's Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track faculty position. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program on the Atlanta campus.

Responsibilities :

In addition to teaching in the traditional BSN track on the Atlanta campus, faculty will be expected to contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession and higher education through scholarship and service. Rank and salary are commensurate with professional qualifications and experience. This 9-month, non-tenure track faculty position requires on-campus presence and is not virtual appointment.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications :

Master's in nursing from an accredited university / college

Unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Philosophy commensurate with Mercer University's mission and values

Preferred Qualifications :

Doctoral degree in nursing or related field

A minimum of two years of full-time academic experience

Evidence of scholarly productivity in area of expertise

Familiarity with CCNE accreditation standards

Background Check :

Selection of final candidates is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check

Pay Rate :

Commensurate with experience
