Auriga Corporation currently has following vacancies in the Los Angeles California Office :

IT Installation Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Installing and terminating network cabling (e.g. Cat5e / 6 / 6A / 7 fibre optic) racks / cabinets patch panels conduit and pathway infrastructure.
• Testing and verifying cabling installation : e.g. verifying connectivity signal integrity network-cable testing equipment fibre optics testing if applicable.
• Implementation of structured cabling standards (TIA-568 TIA-569) data centre / network infrastructure best practices network racks cable management labeling documentation of as-built.
• Interpreting drawings specifications installation diagrams manufacturer instructions and coordinating with facilities communications / IT teams contractors.
• Working in mechanical / electrical rooms ceilings risers tunnels possibly manholes or airport sub-stations; ability to perform moderate physical work (pulling cable installing pathway working at heights if required).

Qualifications & Skills :

• Bachelors degree or technical certificate in telecommunications electrical engineering technology fiber-optics or similar field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT hardware installation enviromnents.
• Experience working in high-security / critical infrastructure environments (airport data centre utility) is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronics low-voltage systems communications system grounding bonding and safety protocols.
• Commitment to safety compliance : lock-out / tag-out OSHA / Cal-OSHA rules airport security clearance PPE usage.
• Knowledge of Class C-7 Low Voltage Systems Standard.

Compensation : $80000.00 - $120000.00 per year
