About the Role :

As a Toolroom Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, providing crucial machine services across several areas, including prototyping, tooling repair, maintenance, ABS, and production. If you have a passion for precision machining and enjoy solving complex challenges, this is the perfect role for you!

1st Shift : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Manage and Prioritize : Use our intuitive work order system to efficiently handle and prioritize incoming tasks.
  • Hands-On Repairs : Dive into repairing components and handling small production runs with precision.
  • Innovative Fixture Work : Repair existing production fixtures and create new ones to support our engineering team.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Technical Expertise : Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings to produce and repair parts with precision.
  • Machine Mastery : Highly skilled in operating manual and CNC lathes and mills, including program creation and machine setup for custom and low-volume components.
  • Measuring Precision : Expertise with standard machine shop measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers.

    Qualifications :

  • Educational Background : High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a precision machining environment with hands-on experience in manual and CNC turning, milling, and drilling.
  • Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with G&M Codes and insert tooling nomenclature.
  • Communication & Teamwork : Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and material handling devices.
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods and reach comfortably.
