Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a financial services firm based in St. Petersburg, FL who is seeking an Interim Controller with P&C insurance experience to join their team.
Title : Interim Controller
Location : Remote / Hybrid - St. Petersburg, FL (Candidate should be either local to St. Petersburg or willing to travel 1x per month on site)
Hourly Rate : Market Rate
Job Type : Contract
Candidate will be responsible for :
- Day to day financial and accounting operations
- Consolidations oversight and responsibilities
- Certification of GAAP and financial reporting
- Serve as liasion with external auditors
- Monitor compliance activities
- Oversight for 7 individuals on team
- General ledger and close activities
- Assisting with redesign financial processes and automation
- Maintain month-end and year-end close activities, audit readiness, and financial reporting
