About The Position

Specialty accepted : Psychiatry

Start date or shifts : December 15 – 90-day duration with possible extension

Daily schedule : Monday through Friday, 8- or 10-hour shifts; flexible start times between 7 : 30 a.m. and 8 : 30 a.m.

Practice setting : Inpatient behavioral health facility

Types of procedures : Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, patient discharge and admission assessments, and participation in treatment team meetings

Number of patients : Average caseload of 40 patients across two wards; patients seen monthly or as clinically indicated

Ages : Adults

Additional information : Coverage includes patients with NGRI, VBG, PIST, and SVP legal statuses; common diagnoses include schizophrenia, mood, and personality disorders. Providers will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and may participate in optional on-call coverage. Orientation and background check required; Epic EMR utilized; travel not required.
