Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales Engineering to join our team and play a key role in advancing our wireless automated solutions and industrial instrumentation offerings for our client in OFS industry. This individual will serve as both a technical expert and business development professional , bridging the gap between engineering innovation and client needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and help the organization scale and grow strategically . This person will influence solution design, articulate value propositions clearly, and drive revenue growth through a combination of technical expertise, commercial insight, and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert consultation on technical products and solutions.
  • Support the ongoing development and commercialization of wireless automation technologies, IoT systems, and industrial instrumentation .
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and operations teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Present complex technical concepts in clear, compelling ways for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic account development and market intelligence.
  • Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and site evaluations to support customer decision-making.
  • Provide feedback from the field to influence product enhancements and new technology initiatives.
  • Prepare proposals, RFQs, and technical documentation that align with company standards and client requirements.
  • Stay current with emerging industry technologies, market trends, and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or field engineering within the oilfield services, automation, or industrial instrumentation sectors.
  • Proven success in consultative sales and solution-based selling.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, wireless communication technologies, and process instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to customer sites, field locations, and industry events.
