Operating Room RN Job Details

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Location : Bettendorf, IA 52722 – Quad Cities (Moline, Rock Island, Muscatine)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : December 14, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Hours per Week : 36

Shift : 12-hour day shifts

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1970 - $2110

On-Call : 1-2 on-call shifts per week (end of shift to 0630 the following day)

Weekend Coverage : Every 5th weekend (Friday end of shift to Monday 0630)

Floating : Required to float to all three campuses : Moline, Rock Island, and Muscatine as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois and Iowa (or proof of application for Iowa single state or compact RN license)

At least 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR RN) nursing experience

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including on-call and weekend rotations

Flexibility to float between hospital campuses in the Quad Cities region

Strong clinical skills in perioperative nursing and surgical patient care

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to surgical patients in the Operating Room

Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures

Respond to on-call needs and provide coverage as scheduled

Float to other hospital campuses (Moline, Rock Island, Muscatine) to support clinical staffing as needed
