Personal Lines / Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines / Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to our operations focusing on servicing personal and commercial lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company with a positive work environment and a strong reputation in the industry.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range : $50000 - $60000 annually (commensurate with experience). Higher compensation may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications.
  • Benefits :

Contribution towards health insurance costs (upon proof of an out-of-pocket health plan).

  • 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution after one year of employment.

    • Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of personal and commercial lines accounts (75% standard personal lines 25% small to mid-sized commercial accounts).
  • Handle tasks such as certificates of insurance renewals and setting appointments.
  • Quote new and renewal business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

    • Qualifications / Requirements

  • Licensure : Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. Life & Health (L&H) license is a plus.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in personal and / or commercial lines insurance.
  • Proficiency in insurance software with experience in EZLynx preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A stable work history with no significant employment gaps (6 months).
  • Ability to commute to the Alexandria VA office. Remote candidates or those unwilling to commute will not be considered.
