Join Our Team at Visalia Post Acute! We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. This full-time opportunity offers a competitive starting rate of $45 / hour and the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver treatment to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
• Follow the physician's treatment plan and document progress per state and facility guidelines
• Record daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and recertification documentation
• Communicate patient progress, problems, and care plans with the supervising OT and care team
• Educate residents, caregivers, and nursing staff on home programs and discharge plans
• Participate in in-service training and assist with training Restorative Aides
• Maintain clean and safe treatment areas; report any equipment issues promptly
• Support discharge planning by collaborating with the therapy team and nursing staff
