Southstar | DCCM has an immediate opening for an experienced Resident Engineer . The full-time hybrid positions (remote and job site) and require travel to serve our client. Worksites are within a 10-mile radius of Santa Fe Springs, CA.

We are seeking a Resident Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the public market, technical experience in roadway, stormwater, and related experience in public works planning, design, and construction management.

Resident Engineer Responsibilities

• Plans, reviews and assigns work of subordinate field or construction field office personnel.
• Reviews construction processes and engineering layouts.
• Reviews project activities with client and contractor's field supervision resolving disputes and other daily issues.
• Oversees materials testing activities.
• Reviews daily inspection reports and other project documentation.
• Attends and may lead construction meetings with client and contractors.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
