Electrical Engineer - MEP (Full Electrical Design)

Location : Irving, TX

Partial REMOTE ~~ Hybrid office / home

Seeking entry-level, mid-level, and senior-level engineers

We are a leading design engineering firm providing top-tier construction, engineering, and design solutions nationwide.

Currently, we are seeking an electrical design engineer to be responsible for full electrical design, development, implementation, and analysis. A lot of our projects are in healthcare, higher education, k-12, academics, aviation, retail, federal, gov't, sports, transportation, and / or commercial markets. Experience across any kind of vertical is acceptable!

What You Will Be Doing

Draft / Design contract drawings
Answer contractor Requests for Information
Analyze shop drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements

What You Need for this Position

Most of the following :

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology or related

Experience in Electrical Engineering for building power, electrical distribution, and lighting systems

Design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and lighting control systems for a variety of project types.

Perform routine calculations such as sizing distribution equipment, feeders, and branch circuits.

AutoCAD or Revit experience preferred

Bonus skills (not required);

EIT or PE License (or demonstrated progress toward these goals)

Working knowledge of building codes, NEC, and CA Title 24 requirements.

LEED AP or other relevant certifications
