Role Description

The Associate Veterinarian is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities include providing high-quality medical care to animals, performing surgery, conducting diagnostics and treatments, and delivering exceptional client education and communication. The veterinarian is also tasked with maintaining accurate medical records, participating in practice management discussions, and staying updated with the latest advancements in veterinary care. Collaboration with team members to ensure a safe and efficient environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong veterinary medical and surgical skills, including diagnostics, preventive care, and emergency treatments
• Proficiency in communication and client education to build positive client-patient relationships
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with focus on creating a supportive clinic environment
• Familiarity with veterinary software such as Avimark, DVMax, and Cornerstone
• Current veterinary license and accreditation in the state of California
• Commitment to continuing education and keeping up-to-date with veterinary advancements
• Previous experience in a similar role or a strong willingness to learn and grow is highly valued
