- All Officers must attend New Officer Orientation Training and Basic Firearms Training
- Must perform case management and supervision, which includes using risk reductions, accountability measures, screening / assessment tools, case planning, and motivational interviewing.
Requirements and Responsibilities-Adult :
Bachelor's degree with major in social sciences or law enforcement related field requiredMinimum three (3) to five (5) years prior experience in criminal justice or social services area.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPass a background checkConduct pre-sentence investigations covering the defendant's personal history, the charged offense through interviews with defendants, officers, victims and other pertinent parties and by completed record checks.Prepare report for Judge noting sentencing guidelines and mandatory sentencing information.Testifies in court and makes appropriate recommendationsProvide personal counseling, and coordinate with outside treatment sources, to help client and family adjustment in the community.Conduct direct supervision of cases assigned.
