We are seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for our Radiology offices in Wesley Chapel. This position is responsible for performing MRI exams within the department. Candidates must be able to work independently, have good IV skills, and able to demonstrate ethical and professional behavior at all times. Knowledge of anatomy is a plus.

Assure exams are performed in a timely mannerReview schedules for patient appointment timesEnsure encounter and prescription with diagnosis is correct before performing the examInterview patient and obtain historyStart IVs on patients and inject contrast with minimum discomfortMaintain machine performance and assure quality control tests are done regularlyKeep records of injections, patients sedated, machine operations, phantom tests, and cryogen valuesOrganize and maintain sample and supply closetsPerform incidental duties as neededJob Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED equivalentARRT and MRI CertificationsKnowledge of anatomy, physiology, and MRI proceduresStrong team playerStrong customer service skillsBasic computer proficiencyKnowledge of PACS systems helpfulFour years of experience in a similar role required.Physical and Mental Demands :
Physical ability : may require some bending, lifting, and / or assistance to patients as well as long periods of sitting.Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making.High level of verbal and written communication.Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Occupational Exposure :
