job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCarry out scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair lighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Monitor and coordinate services provided by third-party vendors. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulatory standards. Participate in rotating on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends. High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience maintaining commercial or healthcare facilities is strongly preferred. Solid understanding of general maintenance techniques across HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems. Must be comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions. Proficient in basic computer applications; familiarity with Microsoft 365 is a plus. Strong communication skills and customer-oriented attitude. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, detect odors (e.g., smoke or chemicals), and perform physical tasks on ladders or overhead. Hands-on knowledge of HVAC system diagnostics and repairs. Experience working in healthcare or similarly regulated environments. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is advantageous.
