We are conducting a search for an Accounts Payable Clerk with 2+ years legal accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel, is required. Experience with PDF-XChange Editor is preferred.

What You'll Do :

  • AP data entry - receive, review and input in to accounting software in accordance with firm policies and regulations.
  • Detailed coding is extremely important to ensure firm accounts and client costs are charged correctly.

What You'll Bring :

  • Undergrad degree required
  • 2+ years legal accounting experience preferred.
  • Multi-tasking and organization skills.
  • Judgement & decision-making skills, capable of critical and analytical thinking
  • Candidate must be self-driven, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to clearly and concisely e-mail and speak by phone to Partners, sub-accounting departments, clients and vendors.

    • Software Skills

  • Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis in Excel required.
  • PDF-Xchange Editor preferred.
  • Accounting software experience preferred - Elite 3E, Chrome River, Cosine a plus.
