Telecommunications Analyst

As a key member of the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, the Telecommunications Analyst will ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise-wide telecommunications and video systems. This role involves hands-on support, system analysis, and collaboration with vendors to maintain high operational standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze, maintain, and modify telecommunications and video systems to meet operational and performance standards.
  • Monitor system operations and vendor services to ensure consistent uptime and service quality.
  • Conduct usage studies and recommend system enhancements or optimizations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute installations and relocations of telecom equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust complex hardware and software configurations.
  • Maintain detailed records and generate reports on system performance and incidents.
  • Deliver end-user training on telecom and video conferencing tools and features.
  • Participate in after-hours support and crisis response when needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed :

Education & Certifications :

  • Degree in an IT-related field preferred.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., AVAYA, Zoom, Network+) are a plus but not required.
  • Experience :

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AVAYA telecommunications and video systems support.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency with AVAYA (CM, SM, & Contact Center)
  • Proficiency with Zoom platforms.
  • Experience with IP-based telephony, PBX systems, and digital voice technologies.
  • Soft Skills :

  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to urgent issues with professionalism.
