Recruitment Coordinator

This position will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting to include record keeping, screening, interviewing, referencing, orienting, onboarding, advertising, and publicizing all positions throughout the company. This position also assists with general human resources support, including training, employee onboarding processes, and employee retention.

Essential Functions :

  • Receive, process, screen, interview, reference, and track applications
  • Conduct in person, Zoom, and phone interviews
  • Interview job applicants to obtain and verify information used to screen and evaluate them and inform them of their acceptance or rejection of employment
  • Act as liaison with area employment agencies, advertising agencies temporary agencies, and local area communities for filling open positions
  • Researching hiring opportunities in the community and keeping up with recruiting trends
  • Create contacts within the industry and attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition and develop working relationships within colleges and university to aid in recruiting.
  • Tracking and maintaining training plans for all new hires
  • Promoting employee retention by checking in with all new hires at 1 week, 30 day, and 3 month check ins
  • Auditing all onboarding processes and procedures, ensuring that everything is up to date
  • Audit employee Paycom checklist and onboarding
  • Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies
  • Prepare and perform orientations
  • Ability to decipher if applicants are in line with company's Core Values and position requirements
  • Prepare and send offer packages and new employee orientation packages and facilitate and oversee on-boarding processes in a timely manner
  • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices
  • Provide general human resources support, as needed including but not limited to file maintenance and records retention.
  • Complete and maintain weekly report on employment activity in recruiting system and Excel spreadsheet
  • Maintain job descriptions and update accordingly
  • Communicate with department managers on a consistent basis for identifying current hiring and potential needs
  • Maintain, implement, and analyze data and processes in our Human Resources System.
  • Assist with Termination processes and checklists
  • Work with managers to maintain all First Aid boxes on property on a monthly basis
  • Ensure that TABC and Food Handler Certifications are up to date and correct company wide
  • Perform other duties as required including assisting other departments as needed

Position Qualifications :

  • Ability to use personal computer and type minimum 45-50 wpm
  • Problem solving, thoroughness and time management
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and in written form), organizational skills, eye for detail, positive motivational attitude, ability to handle all communication between customers, employees, and vendors
  • Ability to retain information while typing and talking on the phone
  • Must be strong with Microsoft Excel
  • Must be self-motivated, ethical, adaptable, and can work independently to meet deadlines
  • TABC Certificate & Food Handlers Certificate
  • Physical Demands :

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
