Job Summary :

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is hiring a Pediatric Surgeon to join our exceptional team in Fort Pierce, FL.

Qualified Candidates :

  • Board certification in pediatric surgery
  • Active FL medical license or ability to obtain

Details :

  • Join existing pediatric surgeon to replace retiring partner
  • Lawnwood Hospital is the only hospital offering pediatric surgery in the four-county area
  • Provide pediatric surgery call coverage for the hospital with :

    • 20 bed Level II & Level III NICU

  • 6-bed PICU with full-time pediatric intensivist coverage
  • 16 pediatric beds with pediatric hospitalist
  • 100 to 120 in-house deliveries a month
  • 20,000 pediatric ED visits a year with 11 am to 11 pm pediatric emergency coverage
  • Level II trauma center with trauma coverage by adult trauma team
