About the Role

Our client a recognized North American leader within their manufacturing segment is seeking a Process Engineer for its largest and most advanced production facility located in Charleston SC. This position plays a critical role in elevating plant performance by transforming processes driving safety and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

You will serve as the plants process expertleading cross-functional initiatives optimizing performance and advancing engineering standards through Lean Six Sigma and TPM methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain a strong Safety culture across plant operations.
• Ensure alignment with all corporate engineering standards.
• Serve as a technical expert for process improvement and operational excellence.
• Sponsor and lead Lean / Six Sigma projects targeting improved product performance reduced cost higher yields and shorter cycle times.
• Develop and coach teams to strengthen results communication and self-sufficiency.
• Analyze process concerns using statistical methods to identify gaps and corrective actions.
• Maintain and enhance Control Plans Standard Work FMEAs and related process documentation.
• Monitor safety first-pass quality and productivity KPIs to ensure performance objectives are met.
• Support TPM initiatives including PM data collection maintenance planning and continuous improvement of maintenance systems.
