Position Summary :

The Senior Field Service Technician will be responsible for safe, accurate and professional operation / maintenance of valves and fire hydrants. You will follow written procedures for assessing, operating, maintaining, and testing valves and fire hydrants. You will also become familiar with the duties of the Senior Field Service Technician in order to provide advancement opportunities within the organization.

What your day will look like as a Senior Field Service Technician :

The Senior Field Service Technician will be working outdoors in various types of weather, traffic, and environmental conditions to assess, operate, and maintain valves and fire hydrants throughout the Greater Memphis area. Physical demands may include, but are not limited to, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing for a prolonged period of time, regular bending, lifting, and reaching. This position operates on a general day shift M-F.

Core Responsibilities for Senior Field Service Technicians :

• Support tool / equipment assembly and disassembly under supervision, including cleaning tools and equipment.
• Actively participate in onsite safety and planning meetings to review safety risks and areas of concern based on planning documentation and onsite observations.
• Keeps site clean and free from potential tripping and safety hazards.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physicals
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on organizational needs.

Qualifications for Senior Field Service Technicians :

The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $30 / hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
