Field Service Technician – Extrusion

About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of extrusion machinery across North America. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

Install new machinery, including assembly, alignment, start-up, testing, and production support
Lead rigging teams during installations to ensure projects are completed on time
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, providing technical solutions
Train operators and maintenance staff on proper use and upkeep
Perform preventive maintenance, audits, and service on extrusion equipment

What We’re Looking For

Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

3+ years in a service or maintenance role

Strong skills in reading technical drawings and equipment alignment

Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems; basic electrical knowledge a plus

Proficiency with computers and clear communication skills

Customer-focused mindset with a professional attitude

Willingness to travel extensively across North America

Valid driver’s license required
