About The Position
10 / 21 - Offer made10 / 9-New Rate $55 / hrShift : 6 : 30AM-3 : 00PM Monday-Friday, could be a little earlier or later.Types of patients / cases in the unit : EGDs and colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchoscopiesNeeds to have experience cleaning endoscopes and in the following (Very important to have)bronchoscopiesTemp to perm is a possibilityExperiencePrevious experience working in the Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit preferredGI Tech experience preferredLicenses, Registrations, or CertificationsBLS required via AHAGI certification from SGNA Associates preferredWeekend when on callOn Call Requirement : On call every third week. When on call, call starts after shift endsFloating Requirement / Locations : If CST, may be asked to float to OR if census is low. with the coordination of care for patients in the endoscopy department. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies and may assist in performing invasive endoscopic procedures. expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.Provides various service related activities to the delivery of direct and assistive patient care in the endoscopy service of the operating room prior to and during any endoscopic procedure.Required to rotate shifts and accept on-call assignments.Adept at establishing and maintaining sterile fields, ability to pull cases, capable in assisting for endoscopy procedures.Knowledge of sterilization concepts and methods, aseptic techniques and endoscopy instruments.Job School Diploma or equivalent preferredExperiencePrevious experience working in the Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit preferredGI Tech experience preferredLicenses, Registrations, or CertificationsBLS requiredGI certification from SGNA Associates preferred Work 6 : 30AM-3PMWork TimeShow more
