Accounts Payable Specialist

Location : Jacksonville, FL (Onsite)

Pay Rate : $22 - $24 / hour (based on experience)

Job Type : Full-Time | Onsite | Monday-Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our finance team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and experienced in high-volume AP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy
• Reconcile AP transactions and resolve discrepancies with vendors
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Maintain vendor files and ensure W-9 documentation is up to date
• Assist with month-end closing and accruals
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed
