About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Information Technology to serve as the top IT executive, providing vision and leadership for the development and implementation of IT initiatives that support the organization's operations and strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving cost-effectiveness and service quality through the planning, coordination, and design of all IT department activities. This role involves direct collaboration with executive team members and decision-makers in other departments to identify and support the implementation of cost-effective technology solutions. The SVP will also be tasked with providing direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
A Bachelors degree is required, with a Masters degree in information technology, business, or healthcare administration highly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consolidating and leading IT, as well as experience in working closely with clinical teams to implement an EHR for an integrated delivery system. A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible IT experience, particularly as a top IT leader, is also highly preferred. The role demands expertise in systems design and development, from business requirements analysis to day-to-day management, and an excellent understanding of project management principles.
